Seattle to Vancouver and Back

Joanne Gainen joined me for a loop ride from Seattle to Vancouver, BC and back

First stop a little less than an hour down the road, McD's

A quick bite and a short rest and then onward

At the Canadian border, the RCMP officer asked where we were going.
To Vancouver for the afternoon.
He asked where we were from.
San Jose.
You mean you rode all the way up from San Jose
to come to Vancouver for the afternoon?
We explained that Joanne has a daughter who lives in Seattle.

About half an hour into Canada, I was unsure of where
we were going but saw the Delta Chamber of Commerce
and stopped to get out bearings and for information

We wandered all around downtown Vancouver hoping to find some
government building with an official sign.
The only ones we could spot were on busy streets with no parking.
We stopped at the Harborside Park for a little rest
Believe it or not, Vancouver was hot in the heavy traffic
We located Deeley's Harley Davidson and stopped for photos and shirts
